ALL online pedigree databases have been under attack by a "spider" designed by MBFS to strip data from our free databases for use in their commercial online databases. Some DB owners have chosen to shutdown their websites. Most DB owners are working on increased security measures to protect their data. Some DB owners have implemented restricted access - security measures that require a user ID and password. A few DB owners have even gone so far as to limit access to paid subscribers.

While increased security is being implemented at this site, I maintain that its existence is a service to breeders world wide. Kris Willison has attempted to make the scripts/reports as informative as possible. She has no objection to providing "cattery reports" to individual breeders for review/correction. She has no objection to generating custom DBs offline (animals bred/owned + 8 gen ancestry) for individuals purchasing software from reputable vendors. Like her, what I do object to is any individual seeking to profit commercially from the efforts of others.
